Being a teenager really seems to be difficult sometimes. On the one hand people expect you to take responsibility like an adult, but on the other hand they treat you as if you were still a little child.
This often causes conflicts, especially between teenagers and their parents. I can understand that some parents are afraid their son or daughter is mixing with the wrong kind of friends. I think, however, that most teenagers are sensible enough to take care of themselves.
In my opinion, it is important to get on well with your parents. If you show that you can take responsibility, your parents and other adults will treat you like an adult. And then being a teenager isn't that difficult at all.
