8. What do you think about the internet? Give arguments for or against it.
I strongly believe that the internet is a fantastic invention because it offers so many possibilities. You can read newspapers online, you can look for information, meet new friends and send mails. I often use the internet to find information on things I need for school and sometimes I even chat with people from other countries. That is always very interesting and it is also a good way for me to practise my English.
We shouldn't forget the risks, however. When you are online, you can easily get viruses on your computer for example. So you should always be careful, just like in real life. I mean, you would not talk to strangers in the street and tell them everything about you. You shouldn't do that on the internet either.
